The Open Women’s Bulgarian chess championship “Thracian princess” celebrated its 10th anniversary with the annual edition of the tournament from July 20 through July 26, 2015.

The FIDE World Junior Under-20 Championships 2015 (open and girls under 20) will be held in Khanty-Mansiysk, Russia, from the 31st of August -1st of September (arrival) till the 16th of September (departure) 2015.

The 2015 Vietnam Chess Championship was organized by Liên đoàn Cờ Việt Nam from July 16 through July 24.

The event was a 9-round Swiss tournament that gathered 82 players from 14 different countries.

The 102nd British Chess Championship is held from 25th July to 8th August, 2015, in the University of Warwick, Coventry CV4 7AL,

The event is an 11-round Swiss FIDE tournament with tempo of play 90′/40 + 30′ + 30″.

The recent winner of the 9th Leiden Open 2015, GM David Howell, will be defending the title in a competition of 74 players.

Every year an IM-tournament is organized to provide the young French players with norm opportunities.

This time, FM Tangi Migot was near to achieve his third norm while he needed ony a draw in the last round. Unfortunately, he lost against IM Sergey Grishchenko.
