The 50+ Senior Championship Saxony-Anhalt is taking place from 3–9 July 2023 in Magdeburg, Germany. Players receive 90 minutes for 40 moves, followed by 30 minutes to the end of the game, plus a 30-second increment starting from move one. It is a 7-round Swiss tournament with participation of Steffen Puschendorf, Paul Motwani, Richard Lilja, Thomas Spiess, Peter Oppitz, Piotr Cap, Thomas Krannich, etc.
