The Azerbaijan Women’s Chess Championship 2021 kicks off tomorrow in Nakhchivan.
The event will be played in round-robin format with 11 rounds and 12 participants. Top seeded are IM Gulnar Mammadova, WGM Ulviyya Fataliyeva and WGM Zeinab Mamedjarova (4 times National Women’s Champion).

Azerbaijan Women’s Chess Championship 2021 takes place from 21-30 May in Nakhchivan. The event will be played in 11 rounds with time control 90 minutes for 40 moves + 30 minutes for the rest of the game with an increment of 30 seconds per each move. The total prize fund of the event will be 7.000 azn (around 3.300 eur).
