The Chessemy Open 2023 will be held from 3rd-12th March at Hotel Forellenhof Walsrode. The event will be played in two rating groups: A Open (for players rated 1800+) and B Open (for players rated U1900). Both tournaments will be played in 9 rounds, swiss system, with time control of 90 minutes for 40 moves, plus 30 minutes for the rest of the game, with increment of 30 seconds per each move.
The total prize fund of the event is 6650 EUR, with 1.200 EUR reserved for the Winner of the Open A. The field is currently led by GM Bharathakoti Harsha, GM Vladimir Baklan, and GM Diptayan Ghosh.
