The magnificent Palacio de Santoña hosts the Opening ceremony of the FIDE Candidates Chess Tournament 2022 in Madrid. The ceremony features speeches of distinguished guests and FIDE representatives, as well as the artists’ performances. The famous Chilean singer and songwriter Juga di Prima premieres her new song “Open Files”.
FIDE presented the official promo video for the FIDE Candidates Chess Tournament 2022 during the ceremony. After speeches of distinguished guests and Juga’s performance, the FIDE President Arkady Dvorkovich declared the event officially Open.
