18-year-old German International Master Frederik Svane achieved two grandmasters norms in 24 hours to secure his Grandmaster title.
Svane finished the Hamburg Chess Club GM Invitational 2022 yesterday and today played the 9th round of Schachbundesliga. Finishing the Hamburg Chess Club GM Invitational with an unbeaten 6.5 points and the rating performance of 2607, Rasmus Svane earned the second GM norm on his way to become the grandmaster. Rasmus drew against GM Eduardas Rozentalis playing the fourth board for his Hamburger SK and achieved the third and the last needed grandmaster norm.
