The Julius Baer Generation Cup is the 7th event of the Meltwater Champions Chess Tour and takes place from 18-25 September on chess24.com. The event will feature 16 world-class players spanning the age spectrum. World Chess Champion Magnus Carlsen will headline the field and meet again with 19-year-old Hans Niemann. The field includes also the six-time World Championship candidate Boris Gelfand, Ukraine’s 53-year-old former World Rapid Champion Vassily Ivanchuk, 15-year-old Christopher Yoo, Indian prodigy Praggnanandhaa, Vincent Keymer, Arjun Erigaisi, Anish Giri, Levon Aronian, Liem Le, Radoslaw Wojtaszek, David Navara, Ivan Saric, and Adhiban Baskaran.
