We are used to Indian domination and a brilliant young generation coming from the legacy of Vishy Anand, but this time with a small group of only nine players, India is still happy to win a gold and a silver medal.

FID players showed significant potential, but it was Vietnam who won the highest number of silver and bronze medals. In a stunning battle in the U14 Open section, all three representatives of Vietnam finished with equal points and earned a medal.
