The 2023 Summer Chess Classic is taking place from 2-10 June in the St. Louis Chess Club. Players receive 90 minutes for 40 moves, followed by 30 minutes to the end of the game, with a 30-second increment starting from move one. No draw offers are allowed before move 30. It is a 9-player round-robin tournament with participation of Semyon Lomasov, Akshat Chandra, Andrew Hong, Brandon Jacobson, Aleksandr Lenderman, Arman Mikaelyan, Elshan Moradiabadi, Dambasuren Batsuren, Luka Budisavljevic and Justin Wang.
