The Thessaloniki Open A is taking place from 5–12 August 2023 in Thessaloniki, Greece. Players receive 90 minutes for 40 moves, followed by 30 minutes to the end of the game, plus a 30-second increment starting from move one. It is a 9-round Swiss tournament with participation of Ziaur Rahman, Vasilios Kotronias, Saha Neelash, Mohammad Nubairshah Shaikh, Chenxi Zhao, etc.
