The U.S. Senior Championship taking place July 15-25, 2023 in the St. Louis Chess Club, with a $75,000 prize fund and $20,000 for 1st place. Players receive 90 minutes for 40 moves, followed by 30 minutes to the end of the game, plus a 30-second increment starting from move one. It is is a 10-player round-robin tournament with participation of Vladimir Akopian, Gregory Kaidanov, Patrick Wolff, Igor Novikov, Maxim Dlugy, Joel Benjamin, Douglas Root, Alexander Shabalov, Melikset Khachiyan and Dmitry Gurevich.
