WIM Natasa Richterova wins Czech Women’s Championship

The Czech Women’s Chess Championship 2022 took place from 21-29 May in Jaromerice nad Rokytnou.

The event was played as a 10-player round robin tournament and after 9 exciting games, WIM Natasa Richterova clinched the title of Czech Women’s National Champion. The last round of the event decided the Winners and medalists as the two top players who scored 6/8 points – WIM Natasa Richterova and WGM Karolina Pilsova met in the final round. Richterova won the game to claim her first National Champion title, while WGM Karolina Pilsova came second. Replay the game here

WGM Olga Sikorova and Anna Lhotska tied for bronze scoring 5.5 points, each, with the tiebreaks criteria deciding that Sikorova takes third place and Lhotska was fourth. (scroll down for final rankings)
