The FIDE World Blitz Chess Championship 2014 will take place from 16th to 18st June, 2014 in Dubai, the most populous city and emirate in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The event will gather 122 of the strongest chess players in the world, including the reigning world champion Magnus Carlsen.
The hefty prize fund of 400 000$ attracted more Top-10 players, such are Levon Aronian, Alexander Grischuk, Viswanathan Anand, Fabiano Caruana, Hikaru Nakamura, Sergey Karjakin and Maxime Vachier-Lagrave.
The FIDE World Rapid championship live will be also daily on Chessdom.
