GM Amir Zaibi is the Winner of Tunisian Chess Championship

The Tunisian Chess Championship 2022 took place from 7-15 May, 2022 in the city of Hammamet. Twelve players competed in the 11 rounds round robin event for the title of Tunisian National Champion.

Tunisian best rated grandmaster Amir Zaibi won the event scoring impressive 9 victories and 2 draws for the final score of 10 points. He was two points ahead of IM Mohamed Ali Boudriga who clinched silver medal with 8 points, while CM Ahmed Bouzidi won bronze with 7 points. (scroll down for the final rankings)
