On April 12, 2025, SenseRobot, an AI-powered chess robot, faced Grandmaster Antoaneta Stefanova in a highly publicized match dubbed the “Ultimate Chess Showdown,” organized by the European Chess Union (ECU) in Rhodes, Greece. SenseRobot, developed by SenseRobot Chess, uses advanced AI vision technology and a robotic arm with millimeter precision to physically move chess pieces, designed for both competitive play and educational purposes.

This weekend, On April 12, SenseRobot will take on a Grandmaster in a thrilling human vs. AI chess match. Hosted in collaboration with the European Chess Union (ECU), the “Ultimate chess showdown” can be followed through the ECU TV.

With only two rounds left of the European Women Individual Championship 2025, IM Teodora Injac continues her stampede, scoring an eight consecutive win. IM Teodora Injac (SRB, 2454) kept the sole lead in the event after defeating IM Lilit Mkrtchian (ARM, 2388) in today’s 9th round.
