The total prize fund is $55,000, with $12,000 for 1st place in Group A.

It is a 9-round Swiss system tournament with participation of Tomas Sosa, Fernando Valenzuela Gomez, Jonathan Cruz, Olexiy Bilych,Gerard Ayats Llobera, Luis Rojas Keim, Filemon Cruz, etc.

The 10th Cherry Blossom Classic will take place from 24-29 May 2023 in Dulles, Virginia, USA. The tournament has prize fund of 12 000 USD – 4000 for the winner. The time control is 90 minutes for the entire game with a 30-second increment beginning from move 1. The tournament system is 9-round Swiss and top five rated players are Illya Nyzhnyk, Vasif Durarbayli, Mikhail Al. Antipov, John M Burke and Semen Khanin.
