The British Rapidplay Championship is an 11-round Swiss tournament taking place from 15–16 April 2023 in Bingley. Players receive 15 minutes for the entire game, plus a 10-second increment starting from move one. 

After a strong start by Nepo and an emotionally shaken Ding in next rounds, today Ding Liren recovered with a brilliant game. Following an opening played by his second Richard Rapport, Ding dynamically mixed the position, leaving little space for black in a complicated game.
