Superbet Chess Classic 2023 – LIVE

The Superbet Chess Classic is taking place in the Grand Hotel in Bucharest, Romania from 6-15 May 2023. It’s the first stage on the 2023 Grand Chess Tour, with a $350,000 total prize fund and a $100,000 top prize. The players receive 90 minutes for 40 moves, followed by 30 minutes to the end of the game, plus a 30-second increment per move starting from move one.

The Superbet Chess Classic is a 10-player classical round-robin taking place in the Grand Hotel in Bucharest, Romania from 6-15 May 2023. It’s the first stage on the 2023 Grand Chess Tour, with a $350,000 total prize fund and a $100,000 top prize. Grand Chess Tour 2023 LIVE

The Grand Chess Tour (GCT), a circuit of international events, each demonstrating the highest level of organization for the world’s best players, will return again in 2023. Tour participants will compete for a total prize fund of $1.4 million over the course of the 2023 season. The prize money for each of the two classical tournaments will be $350,000 and $175,000 per event for rapid and blitz. In addition, a bonus prize fund totaling $175,000 will be awarded to the top three overall tour finishers. Live games from the Grand Chess Tour 2023 will be daily on Chessdom.com

The time control is 35 minutes plus 30 seconds per turn for each participant until the end of the game. The tournament system is 9-round Swiss and will participate Lubomir Michalec, Daniil Mosesov, Bogdan Lozinsky, Oleksiy Karvatsky, Yury Lisenko, Oleksiy Filippsky, Vitaliy Gichkevich, Tetyana Skarbarchuk, Roman Chugay, Matviy Sobol, etc.

The Individual Championship of North Macedonia will take place from 04-11 May 2023 in Skopje,North Macedonia.
