The 80th PGNiG TERMIKA Polish Championship is taking place from 12-20 April 2023 in Warsaw. The event is a knockout, with two classical games in each match, followed, if necessary, by two rapid games, then two blitz games, then Armageddon. The time control is 90 minutes for 40 moves, followed by 30 minutes to the end of the game, with a 30-second increment from move 1.

The Andalucian Youth Championship U8-16 are 8-round Swiss tournaments held from the 14th of April to the 16th in Roquetas de Mar, Andalucia, Spain. Time control is 50 minutes with a 10-second increment beginning from move one.

It is a 10-player round-robin with participation of Alicja Sliwicka, Michalina Rudzinska, Jolanta Zawadzka, Klaudia Kulon, Alina Kashlinskaya, Oliwia Kiolbasa, Aleksandra Maltsevskaya, Monika Socko and Barbara Goraj.

Ian Nepomniachtchi vs Ding Liren, aka Nepo – Ding is the final of the World Chess Championship 2023. The Nepo – Ding match will take place in Astana, Kazakhstan, from April 7 to May 1, at the elegant St. Regis Astana hotel. All the games start at 15:00 local time (GMT+6), and there is a rest day every two rounds.

The Vezerkepzo Easter IM 2023 will take place from 13-21 April 2023 in Budapest Hungary. Time control is 90 minutes for 40 moves, followed by 30 minutes for the rest of the game, plus a 30 seconds increment starting from move one. It is a 10-player Round-robin tournament for teams with participation of Attila Jakab, Nitin Vekhande Vedant, Yuto Otawa, Ravi Rakshitta, Almos Konyves, Kyungseok Lee, Jakub Pulpan, A Chullikkad Adithya, Andras Meszaros and Levente Papp.

The 46th Thailand National Chess Championship 2023 Open will take place from 12-16 April 2023 in Central Chaengwattana, Bangkok, Thailand. The time control is 90 minutes plus a 30 seconds increment starting from move one. More than 50 players will participate in 46th edition of Thailand National Chess Championship 2023 Open, which will be played in 9-round Swiss system.

Ian Nepomniachtchi vs Ding Liren, aka Nepo – Ding is the final of the World Chess Championship 2023. Pablo Luis Aguado Doncel will face Hans Moke Niemann who is the second best rated player on Menorca Open 2023. The II Open Internacional Chess Menorca will take place from 11-16 April 2023 in Ciutadella (Menorca), Spain. More than 190 players are registered for now, among them top seeded are Gukesh and Hans Niemann.
