The 13th International Chess Festival “Aeroflot Open 2016″ is taking place from 29th February to 11th March in Hotel “Cosmos”, Moscow.

This major event is open to chess players of most varied qualification: from unrated to world’s top. As before, the festival is held “under the wings” of the Russian leading air company “Aeroflot – Russian Airlines”.

The International Chess Tournament “Bled Chess Festival 2016″ is scheduled to take place on Saturday, 19th March and Sunday 20th March 2016 in the grand hall of (5-star) Grand Hotel Toplice, Bled.

FIDE and Agon, its commercial partner, are organizing the Candidates Chess Tournament 2016 that will be held in Moscow from March 10 to 30, 2016.

The 2016 Peruvian Men’s Championship is taking place from February 10-14, at the National Stadium of Peruvian capital Lima.
