World Chess Legends is a Rapid and Blitz round-robin tournament taking place from 25-30 June in Platja d’Aro, Spain. Karpov, Torre, Vaisser und Ljubojevic play six rounds of Rapid (25 min + 10 sec), followed by twelve rounds of Blitz.

12th Chess Festival “Silver Lake” was held in Silver Lake (VelikoGradiste) from June 17th, 2018 to June 24th, 2018. The Festival consists of three events: A tournament, B tournament and C tournament. The venue was hotel “Danubia Park”.

12 Corporate VIPs will be invited and will be paired with one of the 10 GCT players + GM Gary Kasparov + 1 additional French GM (Etienne Bacrot?). Each team will consist of two players who will alternate moves as in a normal pro-biz.

The Dunajska Streda GM is a 10-player round-robin tournament taking place from 23-30 June 2018 in Dunajská Streda, Slovakia. Players receive 90 minutes for 40 moves, followed by 30 minutes to the end of the game, plus a 30-second increment starting from move one.
