The 38th International Chess Tournament “Ikaros” 2015 will be held from Saturday 11th till Sunday 19th of July at Aghios Kirykos, the capital town of Ikaria, Greece.

The Men and Women Greek Open Championships 2015 are integrated with the Chess Festival.

Grandmasters Sofio Gvetadze (Georgia), Irene Kharisma Sukandar (Indonesia) and Iva Videnova (Bulgaria) are signed up to take part in the 2nd qualifying tournament of the FIDE World Online Women Blitz Championship 2015 that is taking place 9th July on the official FIDE Online Arena.

The 2015 Belgium Individual Chess Championship is taking place from July 4-12, at the Sports Hall Schelle, located in the Belgian province of Antwerp.

The event is a 9-round Swiss tournament with prize fund in total of € 10,000.

The 49th Ilmar Raud Memorial was organized by Viljandi CC Fellin from June 29 to July 5, 2015, at the Viljandi Sports Center in Viljandi, a town in southern Estonia.

Fabiano Caruana, who is back again on the U.S. rating list, emerged a convincing winner of the 43rd Dortmund Sparkassen Meeting elite chess tournament, which took place from June 27 to July 5, at the NRW Orchestra Centre in Dortmund, Germany.

The 8th International Chess Festival “Sport Summer 2015″ is taking place from July 3-10, in the Serbian town of Paracin.

The Master’s event is a 9-round Swiss open that gathers 115 players from 17 different countries, including 11 GMs and 13 IMs.

The 2015 Russian Championship Superfinal for men and women will be held in Chita on August 8-21.

After a very successful first edition of International Etna tournament in Nicolosi (CT), in December, a new event – 6th International Terre degli Elimi Tournament will be organized this summer by Alessandro Monaco and his chess club “Amici della Scacchiera” (Chessboard Friends) on the west side of the Sicily island in Erice.
