Montenegro Chess Federation and “Vile Oliva” are organizing the International Open Chess Tournament “Petrovac 2015″ from 8-14th May.

Sygnity Ekstraliga Polish Team Championship LIVE!

The first weekend of the Sygnity Ekstraliga Polish Team Championship is taking place from 8-10th May, 2015, in Gliwice, a city in Upper Silesia, southern Poland.

The Sygnity Ekstraliga Polish Team Championship is separated in three phases: Weekend 1 (8-10th May, 2015, in Gliwice), Weekend 2 (4-6th September, 2015, in Katowice) and Weekend 3 (2-4th October, 2015, in Wroclaw).

International Chess Tournament Bosna 2015

The 45th International Chess Tournament Bosna 2015 will take place from 30th May to 6th June at the Hotel Holiday in Sarajevo, Bosnia & Herzegovina.

The tournament is organized by the Chess Club Bosna Sarajevo and sponsored by Canton Sarajevo and Federation BiH.

The 9-round Swiss event will offer 12.800 EUR in prizes (39 awards), with 2200 EUR reserved for the winner.

Four new European Senior Champions crowned for 2015

GM Zurab Sturua (Georgia) and IM Jan Rooze (Belgium) are the new European Champions for the senior categories 50+ and 65+ respectively while WGM Svetlana Mednikova (Russia) and the legendary GM Nona Gaprindashvili (Georgia) are the new European Champions for the senior women categories 50+ and 65+ respectively.
