The world’s most prestigious, international chess events are combining efforts to establish a gold standard for the inaugural Grand Chess Tour, an annual competitive circuit for ten of the world’s top grandmasters.

The 8th Tolyatti Cup Open is scheduled to take place from 24th June to 2nd July at the School N4 in Tolyatti, Samara Oblast, Russia.

The event will include U9, U11, U13 and U15 sections for boys and girls. The sections are valid as stages for the Russian Youth Cup.

The event will also include Maxim Sorokin Memorial Blitz (28th June) and a tour in the VAZ Technical Museum (30th June).

The total prize fund is 120.000 RUB (approx 2200 EUR).
