FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar in Oran, Algeria – Results

From 29 to 30 June 2018, a FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was organized in Oran, Algeria, by the Algerian Chess Federation and under auspices of FIDE.

The lecturer was IA Dr. Hesham Elgendy (EGY), FIDE Lecturer and Assistant Lecturers were IA Adnane Nesla (ALG), IA Stephane Escafre (FRA) and IA Merouane Tabti (ALG).

The lectures and the exams were in Arabic language with translation in French.

FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar in Astana, Kazakhstan – Results

From 1 to 4 July 2018 a FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was organized in Astana, Kazakhstan, by the Kazakhstan Chess Federation, in cooperation with the Astana Chess Federation and under the auspices of FIDE.

The lecturer was IA Ashot Vardapetian (ARM), FIDE Rules Commission Chairman and FIDE Lecturer.

The lectures were in Russian language.

Twenty three (23) Arbiters from Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan participated in the Seminar.
