82nd Brazil Absolute Championship 2016 LIVE!

The 82nd Brazil Absolute Chess Championship is organized by the Brazilian Chess Federation (CBX) and the Rio de Janeiro Chess Federation (FEXERJ) from January 9th to January 17th, 2016, at Guanabara Club, in Brazilian capital Rio de Janeiro.

The event is a 12-player single round-robin tournament with time control 90′ + 30″.

Top seed player is GM Rafael Leitao (2633).

The 14th Delhi International Chess Open gathers over 1400 participants in three categories battling for a prize fund of Rs. 3500000 (around 50 000 euro).
