Winners crowned at the FIDE World Cup for Cadets 2025

The FIDE World Cup for Cadets 2025 (Under 8, 10, and 12) is scheduled to take place from June 22 to July 3, 2025, in Batumi, Georgia. This event targets young chess players in three age categories Under 8, Under 10, and Under 12 – divided into Open and Girls sections, with 48 participants in each category. The FIDE World Cup for Under 8, 10, and 12 categories in Batumi has come to a close. After nine days of intense battles over the chessboard, champions emerged in all six sections.

GM Christopher Yoo has been temporarily suspended by FIDE Ethics and Disciplinary Commission. However, the suspension is not a result of the incident in Saint Louis, rather it is a new case of harassment complaint.
