GM Denis Kadric statement on the cheating case

GM Denis Kadric issued a statement to Chessdom regarding the recent case of alleged cheating online. Kadric says, “I have a my statement prepared the last 3 days. I was waiting for Chess.com to reply to my email before i publish it. They posted the case before me because I said I will go public with this.”

GM Denis Kadric banned from Chess.com for cheating

GM Denis Kadric, playing under the handle Kiborg95, is banned from Chess.com for cheating. “This account has been closed for violating our Fair Play Policy,” says the message of Chess.com. It follows a game where Kadric managed to achieve 90% accuracy, but actually lost in 25 moves vs a similar rated player. In the last 20 games of Kadric on the platform his accuracy ranges between 69 and 90%

Algerian Individual Chess Champions Final 2024

The Algerian Individual Chess Champions Final 2024 is being held from October 8 to October 12 in the Olympic Sports Museum in Algeirs. The tournament features 9 rounds of Swiss and 36 competitors. The top players include FM Massinas Djabri, FM Khalil Bengherabi, FM Saadi Araoune, Boutouchent Ghlib, Mohamed Anis Achour and Ala Eddine Boulrens.

European Women’s Chess Championship 2025

The 24th European Women’s Chess Championship will take place from 30 March to 12 April 2025 in Rhodes, Greece.

The event is open to all women players representing national federations listed as ECU members, without rating or title limitations. The Championship will be played in 11 rounds, swiss system, with time control of 90 minutes for 40 moves, plus 30 minutes until the end of the game, with 30-second increment for each move starting from move one. The official hotel and the playing venue of the event is *****Rodos Palace Conference Hotel.

WR Chess Masters 2024 – pairings

The world’s top chess players battle it out at the WR Chess Masters 2024. In an iconic five-star location, 16 of the brightest stars of our sport will gather to compete for the title in an innovative format. The tournament will be played as a knockout, the time control for each game is 60 min for the first 30 moves, 30 min for the next 20 moves and 30 min for the rest of the game.
