Commonwealth Chess Championships 2014

Commonwealth flagThe 2014 Commonwealth Championships and 121st Scottish Championships will be held in Glasgow from 30 June to 8 July 2014.

The playing venue is Glasgow City College, 320 Cathedral Street, Glasgow G1 2TG.

3rd HMC Calder Cup 2014 LIVE!

The 3rd HMC Calder Cup 2014 is taking place from 20th to 28th June, 2014 at the Sociaal-cultureel centrum “De Biechten”, in the town of Rosmalen, in the Netherlands.

The event is a 10 player round-robin with a time control 90′ for 40 moves plus 30′ for the rest of the game plus 30 sec increment starting from move 1.

Russian GM Konstantin Landa (2662) is the highest rated player.
