Twadewise Chess Challengers LIVE!

The line-up in the 2014 Tradewise Gibraltar Chess Festival, starting on January 27 is truly fabulous with over 60 GM’s, nine of which are 2700+ and a further sixteen are rated over 2600. It will be the strongest festival of the year so far, with massive participation in the Masters, Amateurs, and Challengers groups. A total of 60 different federations are participating across all five events!

World Schools Rapid-Blitz Chess Championships 2014

FIDE, the International School Chess Union (I.S.C.U.) and the Olympic Sports Academy of Thessaloniki have the honour of inviting all FIDE National Chess Federations and eligible players in the World Schools Rapid-Blitz Chess Championships organised in Kavala, Greece from 13 June (arrivals) to 17 June (departures).

Each National Federation or School Association or schools may enter an unlimited number of players in each of the 12 age groups. In case that one group is less than 10 participants, then it will be merged with the next age group category.
