Reinter Chess Open 2025

Reinter Chess Open 2025 is going to take place June 6 – June 8 in Slovakia. It is a seven round Swiss tournament with a mix of young players and veterans. Participants include Ryszard Kasperek, Peter Smetana, Vladimir Verba, Juraj Fecko, Oleksii Dolhosh, Michal Fecilak, Dominik Kochan, Stefan Kovac, Matej Mizanin, Jakub Lakata, Peter Vrastiak, Filip Kordovan, Stefan Schichman, Kamil Haraj, Zoltan Fonos, Robert Kankula, etc.

Wei Yi vs Levon Aronian 2025 – Yallow Dance Cup

Yallow Dance Cup 2025 will take place July 1 – July 7 in Yancheng City, Jiangsu Province, China. Organized by the State Sports Administration Chess Sports Management Center and the Chinese Chess Association, Yallow Dance Cup 2025 is featuring a match between local star Wei Yi and one of America’s top stars Levon Aronian.

Aleksey Grebnev wins Dubai Open 2025

Aleksey Grebnev is the winner of Dubai Chess Open 2025. Grebnev won the event with 7,0/9, the same points but better tiebreak than Alan Pichot. Top woman is Zsoka Gaal, again with better tiebreak ahead of Ravi Rakshitta and half a point ahead of Eline Roebers. Replay all games here

Rishon Lezion is women chess champion of Israel

Rishon Lezion is the winner of the women team national championship of Israel aka Women League Elite 2025. Rishon Lezion collected 17 game points, edging for first Maccabi Kiryat-Yam with 16 and Ashdod with 15,5. Replay the games here

FIDE Women World Chess Cup 2025 is taking place July 5 – July 29 in Batumi, Georgia, and is one of the major events of The Chess Calendar. A total of 107 participants (increased from the initially announced 103 participants) will compete for 691 000 eur prize fund.
