The March Lviv Tradition is a 9-round round-robin tournament taking place from 22-27 March 2018 in Lviv, Ukraine. Players receive 90 minutes for the first 40 moves, plus a 30-second increment starting from move one.

51st Iranian Men Chess Championship-Final was held in Bushehr Chess House-Shoghab Park-Saheli St.-Bushehr.
It was 12 players round-robin.
The winner is GM Maghsoodloo Parham with 9 points out of 11.
IM Tabatabaei M.Amin is second with 7,5 points and IM Firouzja Alireza is third with 7 points.

The 2018 Serbian Women’s Championship is a 10-player round-robin tournament taking place from 17-24 March in Kragujevac. Players receive 90 minutes for 40 moves, followed by 30 minutes to the end of the game, plus a 30-second increment starting from move one.

The 50th International Women’s Day Grandmaster Tournament was held from 3 to 13 March 2018 in Belgrade.
It was 12 players round-robin tournament.
The winner is WGM Jovana Rapport with 8 points out of 11.
Second is WIM Jovana Eric with 7,5 points and third is IM Iva Videnova with 7 points out of 11.

Hotel Park Novi Sad

The Serbian Championship was held from 6 to 14 March in Novi Sad.
It was round-robin tournament with 10 players.

The 8th HDBANK Cup International Open Chess Tournament was held from 9th to 16th March 2018 in HaNoi, VietNam. The venue was Army Hotel.
130 players took part in the tournament.

The 19th European Individual Championship takes place from 16-29 March in Batumi, Georgia, organized by the government of Georgia together with the government of Adjara Autonomous Republic, Tbilisi City Hall and the Georgian Chess Federation under the auspices of the European Chess Union.
The tournament hall will be in “Sheraton Batumi”.
