The Isbank Turkish Super League 2016 is the highest team chess championship in the country, taking place in Izmir July 25 – August 5.

All games will be live on Chessdom.com and ChessArena free chess online platform with computer analysis by Stockfish, Komodo, and Houdini.

Serbian Chess Federation invites all European Chess Federations affiliated to FIDE and ECU to participate in the 32nd European Club Cup and the 21st European Club Cup for Women.

The events will be held in the Ballroom of the 5* Hotel Park, Novi Sad, Serbia. The dates are 5th November (arrival and opening) to 13th November 2015 (departure).

The 15th Annual Manhattan Open will be held from July 29-31, at the Hotel Pennsylvania, 401 Seventh Ave., New York, USA.

The event has 6 sections: Open, Under 2200, Under 1900, Under 1600, Under 1300 and Under 1000. Each section has either a 3-day schedule (July 29-31) or 2-day schedule (July 30-31) to participate in.

The playing format is 5-round Swiss with time control 40/100, SD/30, d10 (2-day option, rounds 1-2 G/60, d10).

The German Chess Federation, ZMDI Chess Festival Dresden and UKA Meissen are organizing the German Masters 2016 from 30th July to 7th August in Dresden.

The tournament will be a ten-player round robin with top German female players and will serve as a good warm-up for the Chess Olympiad in Baku.

NR Klub delegated by the Slovak Chess Federation organizes the 2016 World Chess Olympiad (Youth U16) in Poprad, Slovakia from July 21st to July 30. The tournament is a 9 round Swiss system with Chess Olympiad rules and regulations. Each match between teams will be conducted over 4 boards.

World champion Magnus Carlsen has secured the winner’s trophy in 9th Bilbao Grand Slam Masters Final with one round to go. Carlsen has 16 points from 9 games (football scoring), five points ahead of the nearest follower Hikaru Nakamura. This will be Carlsen’s third “Txapela” from Bilbao.
