4th European Small Nations Team Championship

The “4th European Small Nations Team Championship” will be held from 18-26th April 2015 in St Peter Port, Guernsey.

Federations participating in the event are as follows:
LIECHTENSTEIN
JERSEY
FAROE ISLANDS
GUERNSEY
MALTA
SAN MARINO
ANDORRA
LUXEMBOURG
CYPRUS
MONACO

Each team consists of four players; in addition, one reserve player may be nominated.

132nd MGU Open to be held in Sofia

The 132nd MGU Open 2015 is scheduled to take place on 17-18th January, 2015, at Chess Club MGU, in Sofia, capital and largest city of Bulgaria.

The event will be organized by FA Dimitar Iliev and Chess Club “An Pasan” in a 6-round Swiss FIDE format, open to all players rated below 2200 and it will be valid for FIDE and national rating.

The tempo of play is 60′ + 30″.

Vladimir Petrov tops 131st MGU Open 2015

The 131st MGU Open 2015 was held from 10th to 11th January, 2015, at Chess Club MGU, in Sofia, capital and largest city of Bulgaria.

Aeroflot Open 2015 – Dates Changed

To enable those who wish to play in both Aeroflot Open 2015 and Dubai Open 2015 to do so, and considering that the Organizers of the latter have no possibility to change the schedule of their tournament, the Organizers of Aeroflot Open 2015 decided to shift the start of the tournament to an earlier date: the arrival of participants is now the 26th of March.

The appropriate changes have been made in the Aeroflot Open 2015 Regulations.

The departure dates are the 5th and the 6th of April.
