The 2023 FIDE Women’s World Cup is a 103-player knockout taking place in Baku, Azerbaijan from July 30 to August 21. The prize fund is almost $700k, with $50,000 for the winner, while the top three also qualify for the 2024 Women’s Candidates Tournament. The top 25 players, including Women’s World Champion Ju Wenjun, are seeded directly into Round 2. Each match consists of two classical games where the players have 90 minutes for 40 moves, then 30 minutes to the end of the game, plus a 30-second increment from move 1.

It is a 9-round Robin tournament with participation of Eric Sos Andreu, H James Plaskett, Dexter Docampo Beltran, Antonio Granero Roca, Felix-Antonio Ilinca, Diego Del Rey, Rene Marcial  Alonso Garcia, Mario Gavilan Diaz, Juan Antonio Villar Reymundo and Gines Raul  Dura Olmos.
