Luis Emmanuel Rubiano Peralta is the winner in the Juegos Intercolegiados Distritales Bogota 2024, an interschool chess competition in Colombia. Peralta achieved a perfect 6 points in as many rounds, the same as second place Ian Samuel Beltran Serna, the two separated by tiebreakers alone. Perla de la Frontera or Frontier Pearl in Mexico has concluded and victory is in the hands of Jose Fernando Cuenca Jimenez. Jimenez scored a near perfect 6.5 points in 7 rounds, yet he was closely followed byIsaac Antonio Garcia Guerrero and Miguel Tadeo Palma Villanueva at second and third place respecitively.
