South Wales Open 2023

The South Wales Open is taking place from 7–12 July 2023 in Bridgend. Players receive 90 minutes for 40 moves, followed by 30 minutes to the end of the game, plus a 30-second increment starting from move one. It is a 9-round Swiss tournament with participation of Boris Chatalbashev, Oleg Korneev, Jack Rudd, Daniel Kozusek, Joakim Nilsson, Jacob Connor Boswell, Alan M Byron, etc.

Ju Wenjun – Lei Tingjie , FIDE Women’s World Chess Championship 2023 game 3 – LIVE

The 2023 FIDE Women’s World Championship is a 12-game match between defending champion Ju Wenjun and her Chinese compatriot Lei Tingjie. The match runs July 5-23, with the first 6 games in Ju Wenjun’s home city of Shanghai and the rest of the match in Lei Tingjie’s Chongqing. The first player to 6.5 points wins the match, while a 6:6 tie will be settled by tiebreaks. The prize fund is €500,000, split 60:40 in favour of the winner, or 55:45 if tiebreaks are needed.

Israeli Women’s National League 2023 – LIVE

The Israeli Women’s National League will take place from the 6th to the 8th of July in Ramat Gan, Israel as a 5-round team Swiss. The time control is 90 minutes for the entire game with a 30-second increment beginning from move 1. The top five rated players are Marsel Efroimski, Anastasiya Rakhmangulova, Dina Belenkaya, Yuliya Shvayger and Evgeniya Doluhanova.

36th Leon Masters 2023

The Leon Masters is a 4-player knockout tournament, taking place from 7-9 July 2023 in Leon, Spain. Players receive 20 minutes for the entire game, plus a 10-second increment starting from move one. In case of a tie two blitz games (3+2) will be played, and if still tied an Armageddon game.

1000GM New York Summer GM A – LIVE

The 1000GM New York Summer GM A is a 10-player Round-robin tournament, held from the 6th to the 10th of July in New York City, United States of America. Time control is 90 minutes for the entire game with a 30-second increment starting from move one.

50+ Senior Championship Saxony-Anhalt – LIVE

The 50+ Senior Championship Saxony-Anhalt is taking place from 3–9 July 2023 in Magdeburg, Germany. Players receive 90 minutes for 40 moves, followed by 30 minutes to the end of the game, plus a 30-second increment starting from move one.
