Hallsberg’s tournament became a famous concept within Swedish chess.

For the second year running the Central Serbia Chess Federation organized the round robin tournaments for the GM and IM norms. The tournaments were held from 17-23rd November in Hotel “Sumarice” in Kragujevac.

The Grandmaster event had 10 participants, while the IM event, dedicated to the memory of former CSCF President Milutin Karaklajic, had 6 participants.

From 5 to 9 November 2015 a FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was organized in Samara region, Russia, by the Russian Chess Federation and under the auspices of FIDE.

The venue of the Seminar was the sanatorium Tsiolkovsky in Samara.

The lecturer was IA Alexander Tkachev (RUS), FIDE Lecturer, and Assistant Lecturer was IA Stanislav Yanusevsky (RUS).

A new high-level event is joining the extensive list of tournaments that make up the 7th London Chess Classic Festival: Eight of Britain’s best chess players, with the exception of Michael Adams, who plays in the Classic itself, will contest the inaugural British Knockout Championship.

The 2015 edition of UT Dallas Open Fall took place November 20 – 25 in the Embassy Suites Dallas – Park Central.

The event was a nine rounds event 45 players from 18 different countries participated.

The 1st Patagonia International Open Tournament is taking place from November 19-28, 2015, in Neuquen, Argentina.

The event is a 9-round Swiss open tournament with prize fund in the amount of 200,000 ARS.

Peruvian GM Julio Granda Zuniga (2678) heads the field of 133 players from 7 different countries.

The 46th Annual National Chess Congress will be held from November 27-29, 2015, at the Loews Philadelphia Hotel, 1200 Market St., Philadelphia, PA.

With a quick draw in the final round the leader of the tournament “Open +65” GM Vladimir Okhotnik (FRA) secured the winner’s trophy in the World Senior Ches

The 1st China Chess Queen Tournament is taking place from 24th November to 1st December, 2015, in Taizhou, China.
