The FIDE World Youth Chess Championships 2014 is taking place in Durban, South Africa from 18th September to 30th September 2014 organized by the South African Chess Federation under the auspices of FIDE.

Webster University has the top-ranked chess program and one of the largest business schools in the country. The two have combined forces to offer a special weekend course in October that leverages the insights of both.

The one-credit hour management course, “SPICE’ing-Up Strategy” (MNGT 3100, MNGT 5500), focuses on the key points of successful strategic thinking, using the strategies in chess as a learning tool.
