In the 106th year of the Mustafa Kemal Atatürk’s initiation of the struggle for independence by leaving in Samsun, the historical meaning of the Turkish Junior Chess Championship began in a large city, Samsun. Samsun Youth and Sports Provincial Director Feyzullah Dereci, Iltimam Youth and Sports District Manager Murat Turan, referees and athletes attended the opening ceremony of the championship. The championship will be held at Samsun Iltimam Chess Hall between 17-23 May 2025, which includes 19 May Commemoration of Atatürk Youth and Sports Day.
