2nd International Open SKG “White Tower” 2023

The 2nd International Open SKG “White Tower” tournament takes place from 2-8 January at the Porto Palace hotel in Thessaloniki, Greece. The tournament is played in 3 rating groups, with a total prize fund of 3600€. The time control is 90 minutes for 40 moves, followed by 30 minutes for the rest of the game, with a 30-second increment from move 1. It is a 9-round Swiss event with participation of Dimitrios Ladopoulos, Imre Jr.

Assaubayeva defended her 2021 Blitz Champion title. “I am very happy to win and defend my title. And I am especially happy to do it in Kazahstan, my homeland“, said Assaubayeva at the press conference.
