The Croatian National Chess Championship 2022 took place from November 28 – December 9 at Hotel Pax, Split. It was a 12-player round-robin tournament with a total prize fund of 10.000 euros.

The 3rd edition of the El Llobregat Open Chess Tournament 2022 took place from November 30 to December 8 in Sant Boi de Llobregat, Barcelona, Spain, gathering 50 grandmasters, 44 international masters and a total of 175 players fighting for the prize fund of 29.500eur!

Players receive 90 minutes for 40 moves, followed by 15 minutes to the end of the game, plus a 30-second increment starting from move one. It is a 7-player round-robin tournament with participation of Anastassia Sinitsina, Sofia Blokhin, Margit Brokko, Grete Olde, Marina Levchenko, Lidia Ivanova and Maria Ioanna Haapsal.
