IM Nino Batsiashvili (GEO 2473) defeated the overnight leader WGM Mihaela Sandu (ROU 2300) in the 6th round of the 2015 European Individual Women’s Chess Championship in Chakvi and took the sole lead.

The FIDE Zone 3.1 Championship 2015 took place from 17-24th May, 2015, in Muscat, the capital of Oman.

The event was organized by Oman Chess Federation in a 9-round format with tempo of play 90′/ 40 + 30′ + 30″.
