The 2014 Croatian Individual Chess Championship for men is taking place on 11-21st January 2015 in Opatija, a resort town in western Croatia, situated on the Adriatic Sea.

The event is a 12-player round-robin tournament with tempo of play 90′/40 + 30′ + 30″.

The prize fund in the amount of 10,000 € will be awarded as follows: 2,800 €/ 2,200 €/ 1,700 €/ 1,300 €/ 1,100 €/ 900 €.
