The 4th tournament of the FIDE Women’s Grand-Prix 2013-2014 is taking place from 7th to 22nd April at the beautiful Ugra Chess Academy in Khanty-Mansiysk, Russia.

Twelve players will compete in the round robin tournament. The event is organized by the Khanty–Mansi Autonomous Okrug, FIDE, Russian Chess Federation and Ugra Chess Academy.

Oman chess community was delighted to hear that the FIDE Presidential Board held in Khanty-Mansiysk, Russia, accepted the Oman Chess Committee (OCC) as its new member federation.

The 8th Serbian Chess Championship is taking place from 7-17th April at Hotel Patria in Subotica.

Twelve players will compete in the round robin tournament. Top prize is 1000 EUR.

The fourteenth round of Stage 2 of the world’s strongest computer tournament TCEC was a real drama. Stockfish (3133) won against Naum (3013) and took the sole first position with 10.5/14 and better tiebreak ahead of Komodo.
