FIDE and Agon, its commercial partner, are organizing the Candidates Chess Tournament 2016 that will be held in Moscow from March 10 to 30, 2016.

The 2016 Peruvian Men’s Championship is taking place from February 10-14, at the National Stadium of Peruvian capital Lima.

The event is a 9-round Swiss FIDE tournament with time control 90′ + 30″. It is a qualifying tournament for the Continental Championship, the first three players will have the right to fight for the free spots for the forthcoming World Cup.
