The 2nd International Chess Festival Cesme Open 2014 is taking place from 14th to 19th June, 2014 in Cesme, Turkey.

The event is a 9 round Swiss Open, organized by the Turkish Chess Federation and Cesme Municipality with time control 90 minutes plus 30 seconds increment per move starting from move 1.

The event will gather 122 of the strongest chess players in the world, including the reigning world champion Magnus Carlsen.

The 9th International Chess Tournament Open Teplice 2014 will take place on 14-22nd June at the Estrade Hall in Culture House of Teplice, Czech Republic.

The 9-round Swiss event offers 161.500 CZK (approx 5900 EUR) in prizes.

Currently 167 players from 24 countries are registered to take part in the tournament. Among them are 17 Grandmasters and 17 International Masters.

Last year winner was GM Nidjat Mamedov.
