Festival Internazionale di Scacchii Grand Hotel Adriatico is going to take place 9-15 September in Italy. The event is a 9 round Swiss and players are divided into four different groups. Magnus Carlsen will play Alireza Firouzja in the Speed Chess final. Firouzja defeated Hikaru Nakamura 16-11. Magnus Carlsen dominated the long awaited match against Hans Niemann, winning the encounter 17.5-12.5.
