Players receive 90 minutes for 40 moves, followed by 30 minutes to the end of the game, plus a 30-second increment starting from move one. It is a 9-round Swiss system tournament.

The first game of the 2022 Women’s Candidates Pool B kicked off this afternoon in the walled city of Khiva – a remote desert oasis on the Silk Road in Uzbekistan. In light of the country’s current chess boom, due to the many recent outstanding results by their national team, the federation bid for this event.

The European Individual Chess Championship 2023 is organised by Serbian Chess Federation under the auspices of European Chess Union will take place from 2nd – 14th March 2023 in Vrnjacka Banja, Serbia.

The event is open to all players representing Chess Federations that are members of the European Chess Union regardless of their title or rating. There is no limit of number of participants per federation. However, applications can only be sent by national federations. The registration deadline is February 2nd, 2023.

The Croatian National Chess Championship 2022 takes place from November 28 – December 1 at Hotel Pax. It is a 12-player round-robin tournament with a total prize fund of 10.000 euros. The time control of the event is 90 minutes for 40 moves plus 30 minutes for the rest of the game, with 30 seconds increment for every move starting from the move one.

Girls U15 MPL 38th Indian Youth Championship is taking place from 28 November to 6 December 2022 in New Delhi, India. Players receive 90 minutes for the entire game, plus a 30-second increment starting from move one. It is an 11-round Swiss tournament with Sachi Jain, Anishka Vikram, Mrittika Mallick, Tejaswini G, Shubhi Gupta, Kheerthi Ganta,  Sneha Halder, Rajanya Datta, Saparya Ghosh, etc.
