Serbian Chess Championship 2022 – LIVE

The 2022 National Chess Championship of Serbia will take place from 6-14 December in Bajina Basta, concurrently with the Serbian Women’s Chess Championship 2022. It will be a 10-player round-robin tournament, with time control of 90 minutes for 40 moves + 30 minutes till the end of the game, and increment of 30 seconds per each move starting from the move one.

Women’s Candidates 2022/2023 – Pool B: Introducing the players

Pool B of the FIDE Women’s Candidates Tournament will be held from November 28 to December 11 in the ancient city of Khiva, in Uzbekistan. This bracket will see the clash between the 2020 runner-up Aleksandra Goryachkina, Alexandra Kosteniuk and Tan Zhongyi as the top finishers at the FIDE World Cup 2021, and Kateryna Lagno as one of the top-three finishers at the FIDE Women’s Grand Prix 2019–2021. 

Women’s Candidates 2022/2023 – Pool B starts in Uzbekistan

FIDE World Senior Chess Champions 2022 crowned in Italy

The 2022 FIDE World Senior Chess Championships concluded yesterday in Assisi – Umbria. The event was held from 14-27 November in Assisi – Umbria Italy, and it was played in two age categories: 50+ and 65+, 11 rounds, swiss system. Women’s sections were merged with the Open tournament and the best-ranked female players were crowned as the FIDE World Senior Women’s Champions.

Tatiana Dornbusch wins 1st European Small Nations Women’s Championship with perfect 9/9 score!

The 1st European Small Nations Individual Women Chess Championship took place from 19 – 27 November 2022 in Monaco. Ten players representing Andorra, Cyprus, Guernsey, Jersey, Liechtenstein, Malta, Monaco, and San Marino competed in 9 rounds, round-robin system.

The prestigious MrDodgy Invitational 3.0 takes place from 25 November to 1 December 2022. The group A games were played on November 25, while group B took on November 26.

Magnus Carlsen wins MrDodgy Invitational Group A stage

The prestigious MrDodgy Invitational 3.0 kicked off yesterday on chess24 and takes place from 25 November to 1 December 2022. The group A games were played on November 25, while group B takes place on November 26. The top 8 players in each group will advance to the knockout stage of the event which will be played from 27 November – 1 December.
